Description
Keukenhof is a flower park in Lisse, a 45-minute drive from Amsterdam. It has an area of 32 hectares. More than 1 million people come every year. The reason that so many visitors come are the millions of types of flowers in different colors. In addition to the flowers, Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers. There is a different theme every week. Some examples of the themes are roses, orchids or chrysanthemums. All exhibitions are inside. It is also possible to take a boat trip. You can sail between the bulb fields. These boat trips are called “whispering trips”. The tours are called like that because of the electric drive. Keukenhof has a special treasure hunt for children and a playground. Keukenhof is open from March 23, 2023 till May 14, 2022.
